When Insomniac first released Marvel’s Spider-Man in 2018, the game revolutionized the iconic web slinger’s abilities and fully immersed players in what it felt like to be Spider-Man. Often, the best parts of the game aren’t even taking on its many challenges, like stopping random crimes, defeating bosses, or taking on enemy hideouts. Rather, it’s quite therapeutic to lose a few hours simply swinging around the sprawling Manhattan cityscape, performing aerial stunts, jumping through water towers, and thwipping around as you please.
