In the past week much of the sneaker discourse has revolved around the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1. First teased by recently departed Tiffany creative director Ruba Abu-Nimah with a Tiffany blue Nike box along with a full-page print ad in The New York Times, it was followed with a look at an accompanying capsule collection of sterling silver accessories and accoutrements ranging from a silver toothbrush, shoe horn, lace dubré, and a surprising inclusion—a whistle.
