Puma in the 2000s was absolutely ahead of the game, and it largely doesn’t receive enough credit for the forward-thinking opportunities they pursued at the time. This was the era when they were tapping minimal designers like Jil Sander for collaborations while giving larger platforms to avant-garde innovators like Alexander McQueen and Hussein Chalayan.
