The andWANDER 30L Backpack originally made its debut during the brand’s Spring/Summer 2016 line. It’s evolved over time but kept many of the highly-functional details that have made it a reliable everyday carry for GORP-heads, actual hikers, and gear-obsessed digital explorers alike.

Most notably, a diagonal front-facing, two-way YKK zipper (which is also waterproof) allows for easy access and extremely convenient packability. But there are also so many different interior pockets, straps, and hooks that reveal themselves once you get it in hand. Part of the fun in owning a well-designed backpack is that figuring out all the features is almost an adventure in and of itself.

This particular iteration is made of ECOPAK fabric, a sustainable textile made of 100% recycled polyester that’s given a flourine-free water-repellent finish, ultimately making it more durable and able to resist water pressure up to 20,000 mm.

It also uses INVISTA’s CORDURA nylon, a tough and versatile fabric known for its resistance to wear-and-tear and fraying, but also happens to be very water-resistant. Often utilized in plenty of outdoor and military gear, the inherent grit of CORDURA is enhanced with a silicon coating.

Even better, all the straps and cords utilize reflective material for easier visibility in low-light conditions, with exclusive accents featuring the signature HIDDEN green adding a more striking contrast. Consider adding other options like HIDDEN carabiners or a mug for on-the-go sipping.

There’s also the rain cover that can be converted into either a smaller front pack or used as a map pocket. For a better look at how fun this bag really is, check out this YouTube video highlighting some of its features.
